Farmers Jam

Eventbrite.png

The Farmers Jam celebrates local fruit and those who grow it. Join us at Star Bar for a benefit concert starring local farmers and locally made jam.

Did you know many local farmers are also talented musicians? Come and see your favorite farmers jam out on stage as we sell locally made jam to raise money to plant fruit on local farms.

We are partnering with The Learning Kitchen, Fruit Forward Orchards, and Concrete Jungle to engage people in the planting, picking, and preserving of local fruit. Enjoy the sounds created by local farmers as we raise money for these incredible organizations, and stay tuned for volunteer opportunities to plant, pick, and preserve local fruit.

We'll also have a raffle featuring bread from local bakeries and other local goodies -- make sure you bring cash so you can participate and tip your bartenders.

Just Food Pop Up Market

Join us on November 3, 2018 from 10am-2pm at Sevananda for a sneak peak of the Just Food Market, a sliding scale CSA/farmers market hybrid launching in Atlanta in 2019. No matter how much an individual family can afford to contribute, everyone gets the same selection of fresh, local produce. SNAP/EBT are also accepted at every Just Food Market!

Shares range in price from $6-$40. $6 shares are available for families that currently participate in the SNAP/EBT program. $40 shares are for those who want to intentionally support Food Justice. The retail price is $25 however, we also have a $12 price option for families that do not qualify for SNAP/EBT but still need food assistance. This tiered pricing allows for a genuine community experience around local food.
